Day 1 Home City > Seoul Depart from your home city on an overnight flight to Seoul. Day 2 Arrive in Seoul Upon arrival in Seoul, you are met and transferred to the Sofitel Ambassador Hotel for 2 nights. Day 3 Seoul [B/D] Your day begins with a full day sightseeing of Seoul. You’ll visit Gyeongbok Royal Palace and the Folk Museum, and drive by the Presidential Residence and the Blue House. Continue on to the Chogyesa Temple, a Buddhist temple famous for its annual Lantern Festival. shop for some Korean arts and crafts, or the latest fashion in the Itaewon shopping area. This evening, enjoy a lavish Korean dinner and a performance of folk music and dance at the Korea House. Day 4 Seoul > Gyeongju [B] Start your morning with an excursion to Korean Folk Village to get a glimpse of traditional village life. You then visit the Beopju-sa Temple en route to Gyeongju, once the cradle of Silla civilization during Korea𠏋 golden age. Stay at the Chosun Hotel for 2 nights. Day 5 Gyeongju [B] Gyeongju retains so many relics that has been nicknamed the “Museum Without Walls.” Your comprehensive tour of this great city includes Tumuli Park, Chomsongdae Observatory, the National Museum and the Heavenly Horse Tomb. There’s also a stop at Bulguksa Temple, Korea’s most famous temple and a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. Day 6 Gyeongju > Seoul [B] After breakfast, you travel back to Seoul with a stop en route at Gangwha-do Island for a ginseng tour. Stay overnight at the Sofitel Ambassador Hotel. Day 7 Seoul > Beijing [B] Bid farewell to the Land of the Morning Calm as you fly to Beijing. On arrival, you are met and transferred to Beijing Capital Xindadu Hotel or similar for 5 nights. The balance of the day is free at leisure. Day 8 Beijing [B/L] Today's sightseeing tour of Beijing includes a visit to the Tian An Men Square and the Forbidden City. This afternoon, visit the lavish Summer Palace, if weather permits, enjoy a boat ride on the Kunming Lake. Day 9 Beijing [B/L] Embark on a full day excursion to the Great Wall at Badaling, one of the world’s most awesome sights. At the Ming Tombs, you will take a walk along the Sacred Way which leads to the tomb and is lined with marble statues. Day 10-11 Beijing [B] Spend two full days exploring this remarkable city on your own. Optional tours to the Temple of Heaven or discover Hutong will be offered. You may even choose a full day trip by air to Xian and witness the life size terra-cotta army. Day 12 Beijing > Home City [B] You are transferred to the airport for your flight home.
