Day 1-2 Home City > Singapore Depart from your home city and board the flight to Singapore. Day 3 Arrive Singapore Upon arrival in Singapore, transfer to the Grand Plaza Parkroyal Hotel or similar for 3 nights. Day 4 Singapore [B] Start your day with a half-day sightseeing tour of Singapore. Highlights include the Raffles Place, the Supreme Court, the bustling waterfront and the multi-statue Mariamen Hindu Temple. Enjoy a ride up Mount Faber for a panoramic view of the city and a stop at the Botanical Gardens to visit the National Orchid Garden, Rose Garden and Palm and Bonsai Garden. Balance of the day is at leisure. Day 5 Singapore [B] Full day is free at leisure. This afternoon, perhaps take an optional tour to visit the National Museum followed by an afternoon Tea at the famous Raffles Hotel. Day 6 Singapore > Malacca [B/L] Start your day with a drive through the Johor Causeway and arrive in Malacca, the cradle of Malaysia’s civilization. You will tour the St. Paul’s Hill, Porta De Santiago, and Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia. Enjoy a walk at the Dutch Square along the Malacca River and from there capture a view of Jonkers Street or “antique row”. Overnight at the Equatorial Hotel or similar. Day 7 Malacca > Kuala Lumpur [B/L] Today, you arrive in Kuala Lumpur where you enjoy an informative city tour featuring National Palace, National Monument, National Museum, National Mosque, Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the Royal Selangor Club. Drive by the Petronas Twin Tower – 2nd tallest building in the world. Overnight at the Radius International Hotel or similar. Day 8 Kuala Lumpur [B/L] The morning tour of Kuala Lumpure suburbs will brings you to Batu Caves, reached by a straight flight of 2,723 steps. This is where the Hindus have erected a scared shrine devoted to Lord Muruga. You will also make stops to view how the batiks and Pewter ware are made. Afternoon is free at leisure. Shopping is great and it is easy to move around with taxis and the monorail. Day 9 Kuala Lumpur > Cameron Highlands [B/L] Depart Kuala Lumpur for a scenic ride into Cameron Highlands. At 1,524 km above sea level, the highlands is a refreshing respite from the humid lowlands. Here the foliage changes and the temperature can drop to 12 degrees Celsius. During the winding ascend to the highlands, you will see the Malaysian aboriginals, the “Orang Asli” on their settlement and a demonstration of their marksmanship with traditional hunting weapons blow pipes. Overnight stay at the Heritage Hotel or similar. Day 10 Cameron Highland > Penang [B/L] Your day begins with a pleasant drive downhill to Tapah and northwards to Ipoh - the city of millionaires’ which made its fortune from the rich tin mines of Kinta Valley, the heart of tin dredging in Malaysia. You will visit one of the famous Cave Temples in Ipoh followed by lunch in a local restaurant. Then at Kuala Kangsar, you visit the unique Ubudiah Mosque - a magnificent building with golden dome and the former palace of the Sultan of Perak with its intricate woodcarvings. Have a glimpse of the official residence of the Sultan of Perak - Istana Iskandariah before leaving this charming royal town. After crossing the longest bridge in Asia - Penang Bridge, you arrive into the island of Penang and stay 2 nights at the Copthorne Orchid Hotel. Day 11 Penang [B/L] Today you explore Penang - the Pearl of the Orient and the oldest British settlement in Malaysia. Visits include the Khoo Kongsi (Dragon Mountain Hall) clan house with its ancient design constructed to capture the splendour of an Imperial palace, the historical Fort Cornwallis and the Thai temple of Wat Chayamangkalaram, which houses a 32 metres reclining Buddha. The rest of afternoon is free for you to enjoy beach and sun. Day 12 Penang > Home City [B] Morning transfer to the airport for your departure flight home. Legend: B - Breakfast L - Lunch
